Lift Me Up

Groomers must consider size, shape and other features when purchasing a new table or lift. Here are some of the top options in the professional market.

The Low Profile Table from Groomer’s Best requires no lifting. A user can lower the table to the floor allowing the animal to walk on. It’s fitting for larger animals up to 250 lbs. and is constructed with 10-gauge, powder-coated steel. The table can be adjusted from 12.5 to 42 in. with its foot pedals. The textured, non-slip tabletop is steel reinforced and can be sprayed in any color to match décor. The table’s stainless steel drawers provide storage space for tools on both sides.

PetLift’s Low Rider has a walk-on and walk-off feature. It lowers to 12 in. off the ground and raises to 42 in. at full height extension. The rotating post with surfboard top allows the grooming arm to revolve 180 degrees around the oval end of the table and lock into five different positions. The table has a 375-lb. weight capacity, floor pedals on both sides, a duplex outlet mounted on the frame and heavy-duty rubber matting on top. The 7-gauge, double powder-coated steel frame is available in different colors and can be customized to feature a company’s logo and designs.

The Big Top Grooming Table from Shor-Line has a 1-in. diameter, 11-gauge stainless steel tube that attaches to the frame. The arm features five locking positions and pivots 180 degrees. The Big Top includes a 48-in. top covered with a proprietary polyurethane coating that provides traction but protects paws. Its powder coating comes in five colors.

Davis Manufacturing’s Standard Grooming Table has folding legs, heavy-duty support brackets and a skid-resistant blue top. Its fold and carry style allows for storage when not in use. The table also includes an under-table storage rack and grooming arm.
