Brushing Up on BASS

Grooming Business: Tell us a little bit about BASS Brushes, what it produces and what makes the company stand out in the marketplace.

Ron Weinstein:
After 30 years of making brushes for the barber and salon industry, BASS has developed the finest quality pet grooming brushes in the industry.

We are producing wire pin, slicker style and 100-percent boar-bristle brushes, in soft and firm. All styles have 100-percent bamboo custom-made handles, and they are packaged to hang on a hook. The complete line of grooming brushes and accessories are available in a stripe bamboo or solid dark bamboo. Also in the line is a high-quality shampoo brush, made with top-quality nylon.

BASS has designed complete retail programs for grooming shops with full displays, banners, etc. As BASS Brushes has now been in the pet industry for five solid years, groomers come up to us at every show and say that our pins stay up and our cushions stay in. This is one of the most important aspects for us, as it tells us that our high quality standard of brushes is a need that groomers wanted and we are able to fulfill.

We currently export to groomers and pet stores throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
