The DERMagic Organic Diatomaceous Earth Flea Shampoo Bar is made with diatomaceous Earth, a fine white powder made by tiny water creatures that make silica-based shells for themselves. Each tiny shell is very sharp and acts like a razor blade to insects but is harmless to animals. Combining this element with a proprietary blend of essential oils, the bar kills fleas and deters them from jumping on the dog. The bar also provides an anti-microbial, calming and therapeutic effect for dogs with dry or oily skin. It does not have toxins, chemical insecticides, sulfates or other irritants.
